브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넷마블은 넷마블에프앤씨 자회사 메타버스엔터테인먼트가 대한항공과 함께 버추얼 휴먼·VFX 기술을 활용해 새로운 기내 안전영상을 제작했다고 4일 밝혔다.
메타버스엔터테인먼트는 대한항공 브랜드 이미지와 기내 안전 정보를 효과적으로 전달하기 위해, 기내 안전의 체험할 수 있는 가상의 건축물 ‘대한항공 세이프티 라운지’를 VFX 기술로 구현하고, 버추얼 휴먼 ‘리나’가 대한항공 명예 승무원이 돼 안전수칙들을 승객들에게 직접 안내하는 기내 안전영상을 제작했다.
이번 영상이 대한항공을 이용하는 전세계 승객들을 대상으로 하는 만큼, 그린 크로마 실사 촬영과 FULL 3D 작업을 통해 다양한 상황을 사실적으로 묘사하고, 픽토그램, 모션그래픽, 3D 이펙트, 3D 조형물 등 오브제들을 활용해 직관적으로 정보를 전달하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
영상에 등장하는 버추얼 휴먼 ‘리나’, ‘메이브’ 등은 오프라인 렌더링와 실시간 렌더링를 모두 활용, 자연스러운 움직임으로 승객들이 안전수칙을 이해하고 따라하기 쉽도록 했다.
