천현진 동래구 국회의원 예비후보
중국 난징항공우주대학교 천현진 부교수(국민의힘)가 부산 동래구 국회의원 선거 예비후보로 등록하고 본격적인 총선 행보에 나섰다.
천현진 부교수는 출마의 변을 통해 "부산을 글로벌 스탠다드에 부합하는 세계적인 허브시티로 개발하겠다”며 " 윤석열정부의 주요공약인 부산글로벌허브시티를 만들기 위해 국회 4년 임기동안 최선의 노력을 다하겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다.
이어 "부산 글로벌 허브도시에 부합하면서 지역의 특성을 고려한 동래구의 나아갈 방향을 제시하겠다”며 "역사문화경관이 우수한 동래구를 해외에서 주목받는 역사문화관광 벨트로 개발하겠다"고 강조했다.
천 부교수는 오는 19일 오후 2시 부산시의회 브리핑룸에서 공식 출마 기자회견을 가질 예정이다.
한편, 천현진 부교수는 2023년 글로벌 대학순위에서 아시아지역 150위권의 중국 난징항공우주대학교 환경설계학과 부교수로 해외에서 약 10년동안 경력을 쌓아왔다.
또한 미국 퍼듀대학교 방문학자, 중국 동남대학교 도시 및 지역계획학 박사후 연구원 등 도시개발 및 문화경관 분야에서 전문성과 경험을 갖췄다.
