브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨이 모바일·PC MMORPG ‘히트2’에 신규 전장 하드코어 서버를 포함한 1월 대규모 업데이트 ‘THE HARDCORE’를 적용했다.
5개 서버 구성으로 내달 21일까지 진행되는 하드코어 서버는 ‘원초적인 전장’을 표방하는 콘텐츠로 마지막까지 살아남기 위한 여정이 펼쳐진다. 캐릭터 최초 생성 시 3개의 생명력이 주어지며, 9레벨부터 29레벨까지는 몬스터에 의해, 30레벨부터는 몬스터 및 PK를 통해 사망할 경우 생명력이 1개씩 차감된다. 모든 생명력을 소진한 캐릭터는 최종 사망 처리되는 만큼 한층 더 높은 긴장감을 선사할 예정이다.
기존 서버와 달리 30레벨 달성 후 다른 이용자를 처치하거나 상위 PvP 랭킹 이용자를 최종 처치할 경우 보상을 지급하는 ‘전리품’ 및 ‘현상금’ 시스템, 보유하고 있는 생명력이 적을수록 강력한 효과를 적용하는 ‘버서커 버프’ 등 차별화된 전용 콘텐츠를 도입해 색다른 재미를 제공한다. 하드코어 서버 운영 기간이 종료되면 연이어 오픈될 ‘부스팅 서버 시즌3’으로 캐릭터를 이전시켜 성장을 이어갈 수 있다.
