[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 선샤인 밀양 테마파크 내 농촌테마공원이 약 1개월여간의 시범운영 기간을 거쳐 2월 1일에 정식 개장했다.
농촌테마공원은 밀양의 농업·농촌을 주제로 에코 팜 빌리지, 밀양인생관, 쿠킹스튜디오, 스마트팜, 싱싱푸르트공원 및 야외 농업체험장 등의 시설을 갖추고 있다.
가족 또는 연인과 농업과 농촌을 새롭게 해석한 다양한 프로그램을 체험할 수 있는 복합문화휴양형 테마공원이다.
농촌테마공원은 지난 연말부터 시범운영을 시작했다.
국내 최정상급 요리사인‘최현석’셰프를 초빙한 라이브 쿠킹쇼를 개최해 관객과 소통하는 요리 과정을 선보였다.
지난 1월까지는 4회에 걸쳐 무료 쿠킹클래스 과정을 개설해 체험객 101명에게 색다른 요리 체험 기회를 제공했다.
시는 시범운영을 하면서 관람객과 체험객의 의견을 수렴해 미비된 시설을 보완하고 불편 사항을 개선했다.
2월부터는 시범운영 기간 중 호응도가 높았던 쿠킹클래스 과정을 9회에 걸쳐 실시한다.
아이와 함께하는 음식 만들기, 창업준비생과 진로 탐색을 희망하는 체험객을 대상으로 한 국내 정상급 셰프의 쿠킹클래스 과정이 준비되어 있다.
배용호 밀양물산주식회사 대표이사는 “농촌테마공원이 농업·농촌자원의 가치를 높이고 밀양 농업의 스마트비전을 널리 알릴 수 있는 대표 체험 공간으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
