브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자는 갤럭시S24를 출시하면서 내건 중고폰 보상금 정책이 내수 차별 의혹이 있다는 변재일 더불어민주당 의원의 지적과 관련, 갤럭시 Z플립4 반납시에도 한국의 실구매가가 가장 저렴하다고 해명했다.
8일 삼성측 설명에 따르면 국내에서 '갤럭시 S24 울트라 256GB(출고가 169만8400원)'을 구입할 경우, 갤럭시 Z플립4 제품을 반납하면 최대 42만원의 중고 보상을 받을 수 있다.
여기에 닷컴 즉시 할인, 카드 할인 등이 더해진다면 실제 구매가는 약 117만원대로 낮아진다.

그러나 변재일 의원실은 앞서 갤럭시 Z플립4 512G A급을 반납하고 S24를 구매할 경우 한국에선 42만원, 미국에선 600달러(81만원, 환율 1350원 기준)를 보상해준다면서 삼성이 국내 소비자가 차별받지 않도록 더 적극적으로 살펴야 한다고 강조했다.
