세종시교육청이 ‘2024학년도 디지털 기반 교육혁신 선도학교(이하 디지털 선도학교)’를 지난해 15개교에서 올해 25교로 확대하여 운영한다고 14일 밝혔다.
디지털 대전환 시대에 맞는 학생 맞춤형 교육모델을 창출하고 디지털 교육 전환 기반을 구축하기 위한 디지털 선도학교는 2025년 도입 예정인 인공지능(AI) 디지털교과서 시행 전에 인공지능(AI) 기반 코스웨어 등 에듀테크 프로그램을 활용한 교수·학습법을 학교에 적용함으로써 교사의 역할변화 등에 따른 성공적인 디지털 교육모델을 창출하고 이를 다른 학교로 확산시켜 적용하는 것을 목적으로 운영되는 학교이다.
2024년 디지털 선도학교는 초등학교 15교 ,중학교 4교 ,고등학교 6교로 총 25개 학교이다.
25개의 디지털 선도학교는 학교 내 디지털 교육 추진체계를 안정적으로 구축하고 인공지능(AI) 디지털교과서 현장 적합성 검토, 디지털 기반 교수·학습 방법 혁신 등 다양한 과제를 선도적으로 운영하는 역할을 맡는다.
세종시교육청은 디지털 기반 교육혁신 선도학교의 성공적이고 안정적인 운영을 위해 디지털 교육자료 개발·보급 ,디지털 교육 교원 역량 강화 ,세종 디지털 교육 박람회 운영 ,찾아가는 디지털 교육 연수 및 상담 등 다양한 지원을 지속해서 추진할 예정이다.
