이재정 위원장, 소상공인 중·장기 발전방안 종합연구 토론회 개최

국회 산업통상자원중소벤처기업위원회 이재정 위원장(더불어민주당, 안양시 동안구을)이 지난 2월 19일 오후, 국회의원회관 제3세미나실에서 ‘소상공인 중·장기 발전방안 종합연구 토론회’를 개최했다. 이번 토론회는 소상공인연합회가 주관했다.

이재정 위원장은 인사말에서 “급변하는 경영 환경에서 소상공인의 경쟁력 강화를 유도하고 장기적으로는 소상공인에 대한 사회적인 관심 환기, 현황 파악 및 사회안전망에 관한 정책 연구가 선행돼야 한다”며, “이번 토론회를 통해 심층적인 논의가 이뤄져 발전적인 대안이 제시될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.

이날 토론회는 최근 소상공인을 둘러싼 대내외 환경이 급변하고 있는 상황에 대응해 안정적인 소상공인 경영생태계 구축을 위해 소상공인 미래사업 발굴 및 중장기 발전방안 종합연구 필요성에 대해 업계, 전문가 및 이해관계자들의 의견을 수렴하고 함께 발전 방안을 모색하는 자리였다.

토론회는 정은애 중소벤처기업연구원의 ‘소상공인 중·장기 발전방안 연구’ 발제에 이어서 건국대 유재욱 교수가 좌장을 맡고, 차남수 소상공인연합회 본부장, 이상무 한국일보 기자, 김기홍 한국인터넷PC카페협동조합 이사장, 노용환 서울여자대학교 교수가 참여해 열띤 토론을 벌였다.
