경북도당 공직선거후보자추천관리위원회(공관위)는 이날 심사를 통해 상주시장 후보에 정재현(전 상주시의회 의장, 5선 시의원) 후보를 단수 추천했다.
광역의원 후보로는 영주시 제1선거구에 조중렬(전 경찰공무원) 후보를, 기초의원 후보로는 영양군 나 선거구에 김남수(현 영양군 산불피해 비상대책위원장) 후보를 각각 단수 추천했다.
반면 복수 후보가 신청된 경산시 다 선거구는 경선을 통해 최종 후보를 가리기로 했다. 해당 선거구에는 김민선(전 대구여자상업고등학교 기간제 교사) 후보와 황관식(전 경산시 행정지원국장) 후보가 경선에 나선다.
공관위는 이와 함께 신청자가 없는 선거구에 대해 오는 4월 8일까지 기초단체장과 광역·기초의원 후보자를 대상으로 4차 공모를 진행할 계획이다.
