[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 행정안전부 주관 공공데이터 제공 운영실태 평가에서 우수 등급을 획득했다고 5일 밝혔다.
공공데이터 제공 평가는 작년에 이어 2년 연속 우수 등급을 받았고 또한 데이터기반행정 평가도 3년 연속 우수 등급을 받아 주목을 끌었다.
공공데이터 제공 운영 실태 평가는 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 전국 696개 기관을 대상으로 공공데이터 운영 수준 실태를 전반적으로 파악해 기관 특성에 맞는 공공데이터 제공 확대를 유도하는 등 관련 정책 개선에 활용하고자 행정안전부가 매년 실시하고 있는 평가다.
시는 공공데이터 활성화 시행계획을 기반으로 한 정책 수행, 공공데이터 전수조사를 통한 고품질 데이터 개방, 찾아가는 데이터 상담소 운영, 공공데이터 관련 공모전 개최 등 공공데이터 개방·활용 분야에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
전국 '시' 단위 기초지자체에서 공공데이터와 데이터기반행정이 모두 우수한 지자체는 전국에 9개뿐으로 이번에 거둔 성과가 더욱 값지다고 시는 설명했다.
시 관계자는 “이번 우수기관 선정 성과는 정부 정책에 발맞춰 공공데이터 품질향상과 개방 확대를 위해 데이터 행정의 전 영역을 꾸준히 관리해온 결과”라며 “앞으로도 공공데이터를 효율적으로 관리하고 시민들이 원하는 양질의 데이터를 쉽고 편리하게 제공해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
