[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 28일 김해시청 소회의실에서 김해연구원 창립이사회를 개최했다.
이날 창립이사회에서는 ▲직제, 인사, 복무, 회계 등 제 규정 제정(안) ▲2024년도 사업계획(안) 및 예산(안) ▲초대원장 채용을 위한 원장 후보자 추천위원회 위원 추천(안)을 심의·의결하며 연구원 설립을 본격화했다.
연구원 이사회는 홍태용 김해시장을 이사장으로 공무원 등 당연직 5명, 대학교수, 기업인, 회계사 등 선임직 9명 등 총 14명으로 구성됐으며 임기 3년에 연임 가능하다.
김해연구원은 이달 감독기관인 행정안전부 설립허가와 법인등기를 완료했으며, 앞으로 초대원장 및 연구원 채용, 전자결재·회계 전산프로그램 구축, CI 공모 및 선정 등 준비 절차를 거쳐 7월 김해중소기업비즈니스센터 2층에 사무실을 두고 개원할 예정이다.
홍태용 시장은 “그동안 인구 56만 대도시 규모에 맞는 전문 연구기관이 없어 정책개발과 현안 해결에 아쉬움이 컸다”며 “김해연구원 설립으로 지역 맞춤형 해결책을 제시하고 대내외 환경변화에 선제적으로 대응할 수 있게 됐고, 외부기관에 의뢰하고 있는 연구용역을 직접 수행해 예산 절감에도 크게 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
