시는 지난 2023년 ‘경상남도 소상공인 골목상권 활성화’ 지원사업에 선정되어 코로나19로 방문객이 감소한 율하 카페거리에 상권 성장 동력을 마련하고자 ‘커피 & 웹툰 거리’ 조성사업을 추진했다.
시는 카페거리 게시판 리뉴얼, 웹툰 포토존 설치, 웹툰 AR 드론쇼 등 3개 세부 사업을 지난 3개월 동안 해왔다.
특히 증강현실(AR)앱을 활용해 특정 장소를 비추면 귀여운 캐릭터와 노래가 현실 세계와 어울려 즐거움을 선사한다.
율하 카페거리 게시판 리뉴얼 작업은 예산 절감을 위해 기존 게시판을 살려 좌·우에 철판 용접 구조물을 제작 후 페인팅 작업을 했다.
