브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 ‘갤럭시 S24 시리즈’에서 처음 선보인 ‘갤럭시 AI’의 지원 언어를 16개 언어로 확대한다.
삼성전자는 이달 중 업데이트를 통해 아랍어, 인도네시아어, 러시아어 등 3개의 언어를 갤럭시 AI에서 추가 지원한다. 기존에는 13개 언어를 지원했다.
또한, 호주 영어, 홍콩 중국어, 캐나다 프랑스어 등 3개의 파생어도 함께 추가될 예정이다.
이번 업데이트를 통해 사용자는 총 16개 언어에서 ‘실시간 통역’, ‘채팅 어시스트’ 등 언어의 장벽을 뛰어넘는 갤럭시 AI의 커뮤니케이션 기능을 사용할 수 있게 된다.
새롭게 추가되는 언어는 설정 앱의 언어팩 메뉴에서 다운로드를 받아 사용할 수 있다.
한편, 삼성전자는 연내 추가 업데이트를 통해 스웨덴어, 네덜란드어, 루마니아어, 튀르키예어 등 더 많은 언어를 갤럭시 AI에서 지원할 예정이다.
