서산시, 자리 없는 벼 직파재배 연시회 개최

충남 서산시는 23일 고북면 신정리 일원에서 농업인, 농업 관련 기관 및 단체 관계자 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2024년 벼 직파재배 연시회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

서산시는 이번 연시회에서 노동력과 경영 비용 등을 크게 절감할 수 있는 벼 직파재배 방법을 소개하고, 기술을 시연했으며, 재배 성공 사례 등을 공유했다.

이완섭 서산시장은 이앙기를 통한 직파와 드론을 활용한 직파 방법을 직접 선보였다.

직파재배에 대한 농업인들의 궁금증을 해소하기 위한 질의응답 시간을 가져 큰 호응을 받았다.

벼 직파재배는 못자리 설치와 기계 이앙 없이 논에 직접 볍씨를 뿌리는 방법으로 건답직파, 무논직파, 드론직파로 나뉜다.

각 방식은 노동 시간과 경영 비용 절감에 탁월하며, 특히 드론직파 방식은 이앙법에 비해 노동력과 경영비용을 최대 85% 절감하는 효과가 있다.

“직파재배는 노동력과 경영비 절감에 큰 도움이 되는 혁신적인 기술이다”며 “이번 연시회를 통해 많은 농업인이 직파재배 기술을 이해하고, 이를 실질적으로 도입할 수 있는 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다

A Q&A session was held to answer farmers' questions about direct seeding, which received a great response.

Direct seeding of rice is a method of sowing rice seeds directly in the paddy field without installing seedbeds or transplanting machines. It is divided into direct seeding with dry rice, direct seeding without rice fields, and direct seeding with drones.

Each method is excellent for reducing labor time and management costs, and in particular, the drone direct seeding method is effective in reducing labor and management costs by up to 85% compared to the transplanting method.

Seosan Mayor Lee Wan-seop said, “Direct seeding cultivation is an innovative technology that is greatly helpful in reducing labor and management costs.” He added, “I hope that this exhibition will serve as an opportunity for many farmers to understand direct seeding cultivation technology and to practically introduce it.”
