산업통상자원부 산하 한국산업단지공단이 추진하는 ‘산업단지 청년문화센터 건립 사업’에 충남 아산시가 최종 선정돼 국비 60억 원(총사업비 87억 원)을 확보했다고 28일 밝혔다.
아산시는 확보한 국비 60억 원에 시비 등 지방비를 더해 2028년까지 인주일반산업단지에 문화·체육·편의 공간인 청년문화센터를 건립할 계획이다.
청년문화센터는 인주산업단지 내 청년 근로자를 위한 청년 친화형 여가·휴식 공간이자, ‘아산 북부권 청년 플랫폼’ 거점으로 조성될 예정이다.
아산시는 이번 공모 대응을 위해 (사)인주일반산업단지입주기업체협의회 등 관내 기관·단체 20여 곳과 협약·확약을 체결하고, 조일교 부시장이 직접 평가 발표자로 나서 시의 강력한 추진 의지를 평가단에 전달한 바 있다.
아산시는 인주산단 내에 2025년까지 공동식당, 축구장, 파크골프장 등을 건립하기로 했으며, 청년문화센터 건립 후에는 다양한 청년 친화형 여가·휴식 프로그램을 운영할 예정이다.
박경귀 시장은 “산업단지 인프라는 인재 유치는 물론, 근로자 지역 정주에도 큰 영향을 미친다”면서 “이번 공모사업을 마중물 삼아 인주면을 비롯한 북부 지역의 청년 인프라를 확충해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
