신천지예수교 증거장막성전(총회장 이만희·이하 신천지예수교회)는 6월9일자 보도자료에서 “6월8일 청평 신천지 평화연수원에서 목회자를 대상으로 한 ‘계시실상 성취증거 신천지 말씀대성회’가 열렸다”고 알렸다. 이날 장로교에서 40여 년간 목회를 해 온 김 모 목사는 “요한계시록 말씀을 잘 깨달아서 동료 목사님들께 전하고 싶습니다. 그렇게 교파를 초월해 예수님의 ‘계시’로 하나가 되면 우리는 물론 이 땅에 평화가 도래할 것이라 믿습니다.”고 말했다.
신천지예수교회는 이 보도자료에서 “이번 말씀대성회는 올해 1월 울산과 부산에서 말씀대성회가 개최된 이후, 지속적으로 목회자들의 추가 말씀대성회 요청이 이어진 데 따른 것”이라고 소개하고 “이날 개최한 또 한 번의 말씀대성회에는 요한계시록이 성취된 실상에 대해 탐구심을 가진 목회자 250여 명 등 총 450여 명이 참석했다”고 전했다.

신천지예수교회 보도자료에 따르면, 이만희 총회장은 이날 요한계시록 전반의 예언과, 그 예언대로 이뤄진 성취 증거를 일목요연하게 설명해 강연 중간마다 참석한 목회자들로부터 박수를 받았다.
이 총회장은 이날 강연에서 “성경 말씀이 순대로 이뤄지고 있다면 확인해야 하며, 맞다면 믿어야 한다”며 “세상의 권세나 영달, 그 어떤 것도 하나님이 주시는 복과 비교할 수 없다. 예수님이 목숨을 바쳐가며 주신 이 생명의 말씀을 귀히 여겨야 하지 않겠느냐”고 중요성을 강조했다. 이어 “우리는 성경에 기록된 대로 신앙하는 사람들이다. 우리 모두 같은 하나님, 예수님을 믿고 있으며 같은 신이 주신 말씀을 믿는다. 서로 하나도 다르지 않은데, 그런 우리가 원수가 되거나 싸워야 하겠느냐”고 덧붙였다.
이만희 총회장은 “무작정 이단이라 정죄하거나 편을 가르지 말고, 성구에 대한 해석이 다르다면 그것을 가지고 서로 토론하자. 만나서 대화하자. 정말로 말씀 안에서 하나가 되자”고 거듭 권면했다.
40여 년간 목회를 해왔고, 최근 신천지예수교회와 교류를 통해 요한계시록을 배우기 시작했다는 한 모 목사는 이날 강연에 참석해 “그간 요한계시록에 대해서는 가르침을 받지도 못했고 스스로도 소홀했다”며 “이제 신천지예수교회를 통해 계시 말씀을 공부하니 성경 전반을 깨닫게 됐고, 정말 좋은 기회이자 하나님의 뜻임을 깨닫고 있다”고 고백했다. 이어 그는 “동료 목사들과도 만나서 이야기 해보면 내가 요한계시록에 대한 이해의 폭이 넓어지고 있음을 느낀다”며 “동료 목사들도 앞으로의 말씀대성회에 함께 했으면 좋겠고, 그러기 위한 일에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
신천지예수교회측은 “올해 6월 5일을 기준으로 국내 교회와 신천지예수교회와의 말씀 교류 MOU는 총 646건 체결됐다. 같은 날 기준으로 해외에서는 총 83개국 1만2538개 교회와 MOU가 체결됐고 총 41개국 1341개 교회는 신천지예수교회에 가입하고 간판을 교체했다. 더불어 현재(5월 말 기준) 신천지예수교회 산하 시온기독교선교센터에서 초·중·고등 성경 교육을 수강하고 있는 목회자 수강생 수는 5614명에 이른다”고 강조하면서 “신천지예수교회는 이번 말씀대성회뿐 아니라 앞으로도 꾸준한 소통의 자리를 마련해 기성 교단 목회자들과의 교류를 확대해 나간다는 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

A pastor who has been in ministry for over 40 years and recently began learning the Book of Revelation through exchanges with Shincheonji Church of Jesus attended the lecture and said, “I have not been taught about the Book of Revelation and have been neglectful myself,” and added, “Now, I am starting Shincheonji Church of Jesus. “As I studied the revealed words, I came to understand the Bible as a whole, and I realized that it was a really good opportunity and God’s will,” he confessed.
