브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신한라이프는 지난 25일 어르신들의 건강한 여름나기를 위해 서울노인복지센터에서 건강식 배식 봉사를 진행했다고 26일 밝혔다.
이날 봉사활동에서는 이영종 사장을 비롯한 임직원 38명이 참석해 복지센터를 이용하시는 약 1000명의 어르신들께 여름철 몸 보양을 위한 장어, 갈비탕 등 특식을 대접했다.
신한라이프는 작년에도 서울노인복지센터에서 명절맞이 배식 봉사와 후원금을 전달하는 등 지속적인 사회공헌 활동을 펼치고 있으며, 명절 후원물품 전달, 사랑잇기안부전화 등 소외된 어르신들을 위한 활동을 꾸준히 진행하고 있다.
신한라이프 관계자는 “어르신들께서 정성껏 준비한 음식을 드시고 이번 여름을 건강하게 나실 수 있기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 적극적인 사회공헌 활동을 통해 취약계층 어르신들이 더욱 활기찬 삶을 누리실 수 있도록 노력해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
