브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차(제네시스 포함)와 기아가 본격적인 휴가철을 맞아 오는 24일부터 26일까지 3일간 전국 서비스 거점에서 ‘여름 특별 무상점검 서비스’를 실시한다.
현대차·기아는 여름 휴가철 장거리 운행에 앞서 고객 차량의 주요 부품을 점검해 각종 사고를 미연에 방지하고자 이번 무상점검 서비스를 마련했다.
점검 항목은 △냉각수 △오일류 △워셔액 △배터리 △브레이크 및 패드 마모 △공조장치 △타이어 공기압 △등화장치 등이며, 점검을 받는 고객을 대상으로 워셔액 1통도 무상으로 제공한다.
서비스 이용을 원하는 현대차 고객은 전국 1237개 블루핸즈, 기아 고객은 전국 758개 오토큐를 방문해 무상 점검 쿠폰을 제시하고 점검을 받으면 된다. 단, 현대차·기아 직영 서비스센터는 시행되지 않는다.
쿠폰은 17일부터 19일까지 △현대차 ‘마이현대(myHyundai)’ △제네시스 ‘마이 제네시스(MY GENESIS)’ △기아 ‘마이기아(MyKia)’ 등 각 사 통합 고객 서비스 애플리케이션에서 선착순으로 다운로드 가능하다.
현대차·기아 관계자는 “여름철을 맞아 고객의 안전하고 편안한 휴가에 도움이 되고자 이번 무상점검 서비스를 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 만족도 높은 차량 점검 서비스를 제공해 고객의 성원에 보답할 예정이다”고 전했다.
