윤석열 대통령이 18일 "완주수소특화국가산단 조성을 적극 추진하고 '수소 자동차 신뢰성 검증센터' 등 인프라를 확충해 수소 상용차 혁신 생태계를 만들겠다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오후 전북 정읍 JB그룹 아우름캠퍼스에서 '신 서해안 시대를 여는 경제 전진기지 전북' 주제로 열린 스물일곱 번째 국민과 함께하는 민생토론회에서 "전북을 첨단산업 교두보로 만들겠다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "전북 완주국가산업단지 후보지에 2030년까지 2500억을 투입해 수소특화국가산단을 조성하고, 전북 전주 탄소소재국가산단에 2028년까지 추가로 1000억을 투입해 탄소 부품·응용 기술 개발 중심지로 육성하겠다"고 밝혔다.
또 "식량혁명을 이끌었던 곡창지대 전북에 새로운 역할이 기다리고 있다"며 "전북을 새롭게 도약시키기 위해 첨단·생명·문화의 세 가지 큰 비전을 갖고 있다"고 밝혔다.
