윤석열 대통령이 30일 체코 원전 수주와 관련해 "원전 산업이 정권 성격에 영향받지 않고 흔들림 없이 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 제도적 기반을 마련하는 일이 시급하다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 용산 대통령실에서 열린 제33회 국무회의를 주재하며 모두 발언에서 "이번 수주에서 우리는 탈원전으로 인한 신뢰도 하락을 극복하는 데 많은 노력을 기울여야 했다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "'원전산업지원특별법'을 제정하고 원전 생태계 복원·수출지원 정책을 더욱 강력 추진해 앞으로 제3, 제4의 수주가 이어지도록 다 함께 노력하자"며 "지난주 체코 총리와 통화하며 이번 원전 사업을 계기로 경제·산업 전반에 양국 간 전략적 협력을 확대해 나가기로 했다"고 전했다.
또 "빠른 시일 안에 제가 직접 체코를 방문해 성공적 원전 사업과 심도 있는 양국의 전략적 협력 방안을 논의할 것"이라며 "각 부처는 경제·외교뿐만 아닌 교육·과학·국방·문화를 총망라해 체코와의 협력과제 발굴에 힘써주기 바란다"고 당부했다.

더불어 "개인투자자를 보호하기 위해 금융투자소득세를 폐지하고 배당을 비롯 적극적 주주환원을 유도하는 세제 인센티브도 도입하겠다"며 "경제 성장과 시대 상황을 반영하지 못한 채 25년 동안 유지되고 있는 상속세 세율·면제범위를 조정하고 자녀공제액도 기존 5000만 원에서 5억으로 대폭 확대해 중산층 가구 부담을 덜어드리겠다"고 말했다.
윤 대통령은 "기업의 지속 가능성을 위해선 시대에 뒤떨어진 낡은 세제를 개편해야 한다"며 "경제의 역동적 성장을 든든하게 뒷받침하겠다는 의지는 정부와 국회가 다르지 않을 것"이라고말 했다.
이어 "민생·경제를 위한 길이 무엇인지 국회에서 제대로 논의되고 평가받도록 꼼꼼하고 철저하게 준비해주기 바란다"고 당부했다.
또 올 후반기 창설을 앞둔 전략사령부 관련해 "군의 최첨단 전력을 통합운용해 북핵·대량살상무기(WMD) 공격을 억제·대응하는 합동부대"라며 "한·미 일체형 확장억제 주역으로 고도화된 북핵 위협으로부터 국민들을 보호하는 데 핵심 역할을 수행할 것"이라고 말했다.
