브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차가 5일 전라북도 군산시에 새로운 인증 중고차 센터를 개소했다. 이는 지난해 10월 현대차가 인증 중고차 사업을 출범하며 문을 연 용인과 양산 센터 이후 세번째다.
군산 센터는 부지면적 9043㎡(2735평)에 상품화시설, 200대 규모의 치장장, 출고 작업장, 차량 보관 및 배송장 등의 물류시설을 갖추고 있다. 현재 월 120대까지 상품화할 수 있으며 향후에는 월 최대 400대까지 늘릴 계획이다.
이번 군산 센터 개소로 현대차는 양산 800대, 용인 538대를 포함해 최대 1538대의 인증 중고차를 상시 보유할 수 있게 됐다. 현대차는 치장 대수가 늘어나는 만큼 상품 종류를 다양화 할 계획이다. 기존 수도권, 영남권에 이어 서남권 거점 추가로 물류 효율성 또한 향상될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
