브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 올 하반기 채용 시장이 지난해 보다 축소될 것으로 예상된다.
6일 잡코리아에 따르면 최근 기업 인사 및 채용담당자 285명을 대상으로 ‘올 하반기 신규 인력 채용 계획이 있는가’ 질문한 결과, 42.1%가 ‘인력 채용을 할 것’이라고 답했다. 45.6%는 ‘미정’을 선택했고, 나머지 12.3%는 ‘하반기 채용 계획이 없다’고 답했다.
지난해 동일 조사에서는 하반기 채용을 진행하는 기업이 69.5%였다. ‘미정’이라고 답한 곳은 26.2%였고, ‘채용 계획이 없다’고 밝힌 곳은 4.3%에 불과했다.
하반기 채용을 계획하고 있는 기업들이 고용하게 될 인원은 기업 1곳당 평균 10.9명을 고용할 것으로 조사됐다. 이는 지난해 하반기 기업 1곳당 평균 고용 인원인 12.7명과 비교해 축소된 수준이다. 불확실한 경기 여건으로 인해 기업들이 인력 채용에 소극적으로 나서는 것으로 풀이된다.
기업들이 하반기 채용을 진행하는 이유는 신규 일자리 창출 보다는 퇴사 인력에 대한 충원 목적이 더 컸다. 채용 목적을 확인한 결과, ‘기존 직원 퇴사로 인한 인력 보충’(45.0%)이라고 답한 기업이 가장 많았다.
다음으로 △사업 확장 등에 필요한 신규 인력 채용(34.2%) △상반기 미채용 인력을 하반기에 채용(10.8%) △매년 정기적으로 시행하는 채용(8.3%) 순이었다.
채용할 직원의 유형은 ‘경력과 신입 모두 채용’이 56.7%로 가장 많았다. ‘경력직만 채용 예정’이라고 답한 곳은 27.5%였고, ‘신입만 채용’은 15.8%였다.
