브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회 말박물관이 지난해에 이어 ‘발달장애 아동·청소년 말그림 전시회’에 선보일 작품을 모집한다.
지난해 연말연시 기획전 ‘나의 그림, 나의 드림(Dream)’이 참가자와 가족, 학교 등 관계자들의 많은 관심과 성원 속에 열리면서, 올해부터 정기 특별전, 초대작가전과 함께 주요 행사의 하나로 자리매김하게 됐다.
발달장애 아동·청소년(9~23세) 중 화가의 꿈을 가진 이들에게 작품 제작부터 전시까지 전 과정의 경험을 제공할 이번 공모전은 말과 그림을 좋아하는 발달장애인 누구나 도전할 수 있다.
말을 소재로 한 4절지(394×545㎜) 또는 그 이상 크기의 평면 작품(재료 자유)을 제작한 뒤 작품 이미지를 촬영해(용량 1mb 이상) 이메일로 이름, 나이, 학교, 연락처(보호자 또는 교사)를 적어 함께 보내면 접수가 완료된다. 학교나 복지관 등 소속기관이 없어도 무방하다.
접수기간은 오는 11월 17일까지다. 한국마사회는 블라인드 심사를 거쳐 11월 30점을 선정해 발표한다. 선정 작품들은 말박물관 기획전시실에서 2개월 간 전시된다. 전시 참가자들에게는 소정의 기념품도 제공된다. 보다 자세한 내용은 한국마사회 홈페이지 공지사항을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

The Korea Racing Authority Horse Museum is recruiting works to be exhibited at the ‘Developmentally Disabled Children and Adolescents Horse Drawing Exhibition’ for the second consecutive year.
Last year’s year-end and New Year’s special exhibition ‘My Drawing, My Dream’ was held with much interest and support from participants, families, schools, and other related parties, and starting this year, it has become one of the main events along with regular special exhibitions and invited artist exhibitions.
This contest, which will provide children and adolescents with developmental disabilities (ages 9-23) who dream of becoming artists with an experience of the entire process from creating a work to exhibiting it, is open to anyone with a developmental disability who loves horses and drawings.
After creating a flat work (materials free) using a horse as a subject on a 4-section piece (394×545㎜) or larger, take a picture of the work (capacity 1MB or larger) and send it to the email with your name, age, school, and contact information (guardian or teacher) to complete the application. It is okay if you do not have an affiliated institution such as a school or welfare center.
The application period is until November 17. The Korea Racing Authority will select 30 works through a blind review and announce them in November.
