브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 신세계그룹이 2024년 추석 명절을 앞두고 중소 협력회사의 납품대금을 조기 지급한다.
이번 납품대금 조기 지급에는 이마트, 신세계백화점, 신세계DF, SSG닷컴, 신세계L&B 5개 사가 참여한다. 2000여개 협력회사에 2600억원 규모로 지급된다.
대금 지급을 앞당긴 것은 고금리, 고물가 등의 여파로 어려움을 겪는 중소 협력회사들의 명절 자금 운용에 도움을 주기 위해서다.
신세계그룹은 추석을 앞두고 납품대금 지급 시기를 기존 정산일로부터 최대 10일 앞당겨 9월 10일에서 13일 사이 지급한다.
한편, 이마트와 신세계백화점은 2011년부터 동반성장펀드를 운영해 협력회사가 낮은 금리로 자금 대출을 받을 수 있도록 돕는 등 상생을 위한 다양한 활동을 이어 나가고 있다.
신세계그룹 관계자는 “직원들의 임금, 상여금 및 원자재 대금 등 자금 소요가 많은 명절을 앞두고 중소협력사들의 납품대금을 앞당겨 지급한다”며 “협력사와 동반성장 할 수 있도록 다각도로 노력할 것이다”고 말했다.
