세종시는 2025년 정부 예산안에 국비 1조 5,977억원이 반영됐다고 27일 밝혔다.이는 올해 정부 예산 대비 5.1%인 775억원이 늘어났다.
세종시 국비 분야별 반영액을 보면 △세종국제정원도시 박람회 사업비 77억원, △국회세종의사당 부지매입비 350억, △대통령제2집무실 건립 예산 45억이다.
또 행복도시에서 조치원까지 연결된 BRT를 홍익대까지 연장하는 세종~천안 BRT’ 구축 사업도 반영됐다
2027 하계세계대학경기를 위한 종합체육시설 건립비 99억원, 유네스코 국제해석설명센터 청사 건립 예산 18억 원도 포함됐다.
이와 함께 지역거점 정보보호 클러스터 구축 사업에 23억원, 국립민속박물관 이전건립에 102억 원 지역투자촉진 보조금 43억원이 각각 편성됐다.
이밖에 △대한민국 문화도시 조성 30억원, △한글 목조탑 건립 2.5억원, △실내형 한글놀이터 조성사업 4억원 등이 반영돼 한글문화수도로 발돋움할 수 있는 계기를 마련하게 됐다.
재해위험 개선을 위한 노송천 정비사업 5억원, 노후상수도 정비 19억원, 공공하수처리시설 증설 사업 5억원이 신규 반영됐다. 공공형 버스 사업 51억원, 스마트 경로당 보급에 14억원도 반영됐다.
최민호 세종시장은 " 정부예산안에 반영된 시정 현안이 국회 심의 단계에서 감액되지 않도록 철저히 준비하겠다"며"사전절차 이행이 필요한 사업은 예비타당성조사 면제 등 관련 절차의 신속한 이행을 지원 할 것"이라고 설명했다.
