브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 네오플은 제주도 내 예체능 인재 아동을 지원하고자 초록우산과 업무 협약을 맺고 ‘드림UP 예체능 꿈나무 지원사업’을 진행한다고 9일 밝혔다.
‘드림UP 예체능 꿈나무 지원사업’은 제주도 내 예체능 특기적성이 뛰어난 아동을 선발하여 재능 계발을 위한 장학금을 지급하는 후원 사업이다. 네오플과 초록우산은 3억 원 규모의 업무협약을 맺고 2027년까지 3년간 도내 초등학교 1학년부터 고등학교 2학년까지 재학 중인 예술, 체육, 자율분야 등에서 역량을 갖춘 총 20명의 특기생을 지원한다.
올해 네오플과 초록우산은 재능성취 및 비전수립 목표를 담은 아동별 활동목표 계획서를 검토 및 심사해 적격자를 선발하고 장학금을 지급할 예정이다. 후원 대상자로 선발되는 도내 예체능 특기생에게는 1인당 연간 500만 원의 인재양성비가 지급된다. 단, 지원 기간 중 대상자에게 결격사유가 발생한 경우 선발 기준에 따라 후원 대상자 재선정이 이뤄진다.
후원금은 전문교육과정 이수와 교재 및 교구 구입 비용에 활용되며 시험 응시, 도서 구입, 대회 참가 등 진로 관련 비전 수립 활동과 체력단련실, 전지훈련, 합숙훈련 등 재능계발장소와 연계된 활동 지원에도 사용된다.
네오플 윤명진 대표는 “제주도 내 예체능 인재 아동들이 스스로의 재능을 계발하고 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 응원하겠다”며 “후원 대상자들이 건강한 사회인으로 성장하여 세상에 기여할 수 있게 되길 희망한다”고 전했다.
한편, 네오플은 제주시 결식 우려 아동을 위한 밑반찬 지원, 백혈병 소아암 환아 지원, 보호대상 아동 디딤씨앗통장 적립금 지원, 방과 후 공부방 ‘꿈들’ 지원, 저소득 조손가정 위탁아동 지원 등 제주 지역사회에 선한 영향력을 전하기 위해 다양한 사회공헌 활동들을 펼치고 있다.
