[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 경기평택항만공사가 한국국제물류협회와 상호협력 양해각서를 체결했다.
이번 양해각서는 9일 평택항 마린센터에서 공사와 한국국제물류협회가 해운물류 아카데미 교육사업을 진행하고 있는 것을 배경으로, 양 기관의 상호 협력사항을 강화함으로써 평택항 활성화와 경기도 물류기업의 비즈니스 기회를 확대하기 위하여 추진됐다.

경기평택항만공사 김석구 사장은 “이번 양해각서 체결로 협회와 보다 긴밀한 관계가 형성되길 기대한다.”며, “협회 회원사의 원활한 평택항 서비스 이용을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
한국국제물류협회 원제철 회장은 “평택항은 중국과 인접해 있어, 수도권 물류의 중추적 역할을 할 수 있는 항만이라고 생각한다.”며, “물류망 지원 정책과 물류인 양성 등 산업 육성 협업을 기대한다.”고 말했다.
