충남 서산시의회가 11일 제298회 임시회 제1차 본회의를 열고 13일까지 3일간의 회기에 들어갔다.
이번 임시회는 본회의 2일, 상임위원회(행정문화복지.산업건설위원회) 1일 일정으로 운영되며, 조례안 12건, 동의안 6건, 승인안 1건 등 총 24개 안건을 심의·처리할 예정이다.
서산시의회는 이번 임시회에서 서산 이북도민 관련 단체 지원에 관한 조례안(가선숙 의원 대표발의), 서산시 새마을운동조직 육성을 위한 지원 조례 일부개정조례안(이정수 의원 대표발의), 서산시 보호수 지정 및 관리에 관한 조례안(한석화 의원 대표발의) 등을 심의한다.

9일, 제1차 본회의에 앞서 안원기 의원은 ‘농사용 전기료 인상, 농업의 위기를 부채질 하는가’를, 최동묵 의원은 ‘현대오일뱅크 폐수 무단 배출 사건에 대한 신속한 과징금 부과 촉구’를, 문수기 의원은 ‘예천지구 공영주차장 사업’을 주제로 5분 자유발언의 시간을 가졌다.
서산시의회는 또 안효돈 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘서산 임해지역 국가산업단지 지정 촉구 건의안’과 최동묵 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘수산자원보호구역 해제 촉구 건의안’을 채택했다.
