[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시는 ‘광명형 강소형 스마트도시 조성 사업 설명회’를 개최했다.
12일 설명회에는 시민, 기업 관계자, 연구개발 전문가 등 100여 명이 참석했다.
설명회는 광명시의 스마트도시 조성 사업의 주요 목표와 추진 방향을 시민들과 기업에 설명하고, 다양한 혁신적 비즈니스 모델을 소개하는 자리였다. 분야별 전문가들이 나서 광명시의 비전을 제시하며 다양한 스마트 기술과 서비스를 발표했다.
김환용 한양대 교수는 ‘광명 역세권 스마트도시 추진 전략과 이노베이션 센터의 역할’이라는 주제로 첫 발표를 맡았다. 김 교수는 “지속 가능한 도시 생태계를 구축하기 위해 혁신적인 스마트 기술을 도입하고, 이노베이션 센터가 중심 역할을 해 시민 및 지역 기업과 협력해야 한다”고 강조했다.
