[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 22일 낮 기흥구 영덕동 젊음의 광장에서 열린 ‘흥덕 어울림 한마당’ 행사 현장을 찾아 주민들과 만났다.
행사는 흥덕지구 입주자대표회의 연합회(회장 장인덕)가 인덕원~동탄 지하철의 흥덕역 착공을 기념하며 주민 단합과 소통을 위해 마련했다.
이 시장은 이날 행사장을 찾아 곳곳을 돌면서 주민들과 인사를 나누고 금붕어ㆍ미꾸라지 잡기 등의 놀이를 하는 어린이들을 응원하고 사진 촬영 요청에 응하는 등의 시간을 가졌다.
이 시장은 또 행사 운영을 위해 자원봉사에 나선 영덕1동 새마을부녀회와 직원, 입주자대표회 관계자들에게도 고마움을 전했다.
이 시장은 “무더위가 마침내 물러가고 가을의 좋은 날씨가 와서 우리를 기분좋게 하는 오늘 주민들이 멋진 행사를 기획하신 데 대해 축하와 감사의 뜻을 전한다”며 “먹거리, 살거리도 많고 주민들의 노래 경연도 펼쳐지는 만큼 가족 등과 함께 행복한 시간 많이 보내시기 바란다”고 말했다.
행사장엔 푸드트럭과 먹거리 부스가 운영됐고 어린이를 동반한 가족들을 위한 각종 체험 테마 부스도 운영됐다.
행사 중간 색소폰 앙상블 공연, 태권도 시범 공연 등이 펼쳐졌고 저녁에는 주민 노래자랑이 이어졌다. 용인문화재단과 경기아트센터가 지원하는 ‘아트트럭’ 으로 위드유컴퍼니의 뮤지컬 공연, 더플레이의 대중음악 공연 등도 마련됐다.'
