[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인문화재단은 국립한글박물관과 '어린이 나라'를 개최한다.
오는 9월 26일부터 11월 23일까지 용인포은아트갤러리에서 열리는 <어린이 나라>는 1923년 소파 방정환이 창간한 한글 잡지 ‘어린이’의 100주년을 기념하기 위해 국립한글박물관이 최초 기획한 전시로, 재단은 ‘국립한글박물관 순회전 지역 문예회관 공모사업(한국문화예술연합회)’에 선정되어 전시를 선보인다.
이번 전시는 한글 잡지 ‘어린이’에 대한 내용을 기반으로 한 라키비움[도서관(Library) + 기록관(Archives) + 박물관(Museum)] 형태의 전시로 잡지 창간 과정부터 잡지에 실린 다양한 문학 작품, 독자 투고, 잡지 부록 등 1920~30년대 어린이들에게 사랑을 받은 잡지 ‘어린이’의 다양한 면모를 확인할 수 있다.
전시는 총 3부로 나뉜다. 1부 ‘어린이 잡지의 탄생’에서는 잡지 ‘어린이’의 편집실 공간을 재현해 잡지의 탄생 과정을 소개한다. 창문 형태의 매핑 영상과 잡지 편집 후기를 원고지 위에 투사하는 영상은 어린이 존중을 위해 일 년 사계절 밤낮없이 바쁘게 돌아가던 편집실의 모습을 보여준다.
2부 ‘놀고 웃으며 평화로운 세상’에서는 잡지 ‘어린이’에서 부록으로 발간해 큰 인기를 끌었던 대운동회 말판을 디지털 인터랙티브(대화형)로 구현했다. 성냥개비 놀이와 다이아몬드 게임을 할 수 있는 아날로그 놀이 공간도 함께 구성되어 잡지 ‘어린이’가 제안했던 다양한 놀이 방법을 직접 체험할 수 있다.
3부 ‘읽고 쓰고 말하는 세상’에서는 잡지 ‘어린이’에서 다루었던 세계 명작동화들과 창작 문학들을 소개하고 독자들 간의 소통의 장이자 어린이 문화가 만들어졌던 ‘독자 담화실’을 디지털로 재현한다.
이번 전시를 더욱 풍성하게 즐길 수 있는 전시연계 프로그램도 다양하게 준비되어 있다. 전시 기간 중 오전과 오후 일 2회 도슨트가 운영되며, 개막일(9월 26일)과 매주 일요일에는 소파 방정환이 쓴 동화를 원작으로 한 공연 ‘시골쥐의 서울구경’이, 한글날(10월 9일)에는 한글 잡지 ‘어린이’가 강조한 어린이 존중과 자유를 온몸으로 느낄 수 있는 백일장 대회 ‘가갸날 동시해’를 운영한다.
