[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 청소년 약 70여 명과 28번째 소통 릴레이 시간을 가졌다.
이번 소통릴레이는 방세환 시장이 광주시청소년수련관 청소년자치기구위원들과 관내 고등학교(7개교) 학생자치회 소속 학생들의 목소리를 경청하고, 청소년 권익 증진을 위한 청소년 정책 개선 방안 모색과 광주시 교육 정책 논의를 위해 지난21일 마련된 자리다.
이날 행사는 초월고등학교 학생 7명으로 구성된 댄스동아리(D-free) 공연을 시작으로, 1부에서는 광주시청소년수련관 자치기구 청소년참여위원회의 정책발표 후 2부에서는 행사에 참석한 청소년들과 격의없는의견을 나누며 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
청소년수련관 자치기구인 청소년참여위원회는 2001년 구성되어 현재 24기째 운영되고 있으며 관내 초·중·고 학생 38명이 활동하고 있다.
5개분야에서 지금까지 약 20개의 정책안건을 발표했으며 광주시 청소년의 사회성·리더십 등 다양한 역량 함양을 통해 광주시 청소년 발전에 기여하고 있다.
방세환 시장은 "이번 소통릴레이에서 나온 청소년들의 의견에 귀 기울이겠으며 앞으로 청소년들의 권익 증진과 주도성을 바탕으로 한 교육 환경 개선을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다"라고 말했다.
