특히 이번에는 안전상의 문제로 개막식 장소를 월정교에서 대릉원으로 변경했으며, 금관총 주변에 푸드트럭존을 신설하고 스마트 QR 주문 및 결제 시스템을 도입했다.
또 봉황대 법장사 뒤편에 ESG 존을 마련해 친환경 체험 공간과 반려견 동반 구역을 새롭게 준비했다.
먼저 신라예술제는 오는 28일부터 29일까지 주제공연 및 미술, 사진전시, 체험행사 등의 콘텐츠로 경주 예술의 전당 일원에서 펼쳐진다.
이어 신라문화제(축제)는 10월 11일부터 13일까지 3일간 신라복판타지 패션쇼, 실크로드 페스타, 화랑힙합 페스타, 달빛난장 등으로 풍성한 볼거리와 즐길거리, 먹거리를 선사한다.

올해 신라문화제 개막식은 대릉원에서 개최된다.

시는 화백제전을 대신해 신라복판타지 패션쇼를 선보인다.

신라문화제 기간에만 즐길 수 있는 감성 낭만 야시장인 ‘달빛난장’이 봉황대 광장과 금관총 일원 등에서 진행된다.
판매 공간은 총 3개 구역, 41개 규모로 진행된다. 감성판매존은 나무부스와 파티라이트를 활용한 공간으로, 모던판매존은 네온을 활용한 공간으로 꾸려진다.
여기에 올해는 금관총 일원에 푸드트럭존을 신설해 스마트 QR 주문 및 결제 시스템을 시범 운영한다.
떡볶이, 어묵 등 간단한 요깃거리가 가능한 분식류부터 부대찌개, 제육볶음 등 입맛을 자극할 식사류, 케밥과 양꼬치 등 글로벌한 먹거리까지 선보일 예정이다.
취식공간도 총 3개 구역, 190개 규모로 마련했다.
차도 위 노란색 파라솔 공간인 레트로가맥존, 나무팔레트와 파티라이트 공간인 감성피크닉존, 캠핑테이블과 LED 공간인 신라라운지존은 축제를 즐기러 온 방문객이 축제장에 오래 머무르며 소비할 수 있게 준비했다.
oMZ세대 겨냥한 거리예술 공연인 화랑힙합 및 실크로드 페스타
실크로드페스타는 해외 2팀을 포함해 전문거리 예술팀 30개 팀이 70회 정도의 공연을 준비하고 있다.
봉황대 광장을 비롯해 공연 구역을 총 7곳으로 마련해 광장을 거닐며 공중극, 서커스, 마임, 마술, 버블쇼 등 다양한 공연을 제공한다.
특히 올해에는 봉황대 법장사 뒤편에 ESG존을 마련해 친환경 체험 공간과 반려견 동반 구역을 신설했다.
친환경 체험공간인 ‘그린어스 존’은 문정헌 뒤 잔디밭에 마련돼 폐플라스틱 업사이클링 체험부터 멸종위기 동물을 캐릭터로 한 에코백 제작까지 친환경을 소재로 재미를 더한 체험이 가능하다.
또 반려견 동반 구역은 그린어스 존 옆에서 반려견 TV를 관람하고 미로 체험을 하는 등 색다른 즐길거리로 채워진다.
청소년들에게 큰 인기를 끌었던 화랑힙합페스타는 요즘 힙합씬에서 가장 핫한 출연진으로 섭외했다.
출연진은 비와이, 비오, 자이언티 등 8팀이다. 시는 사회관계망서비스(SNS)를 통해서 라인업을 순차적으로 공개하고 있는데 벌써부터 그 관심과 인기가 폭발적이다.

올해 초 공개모집을 통해 축제 SNS홍보단(시민서포터즈) 207명, 실크로드 페스타(시민프로듀서) 85명, 친환경 그린리더(화랑원화단) 48명을 구성했다.
SNS홍보단인 시민서포터즈는 인스타, 유튜브, 블로그 등 SNS를 통해 신라문화제와 시정에 관한 홍보활동을 톡톡히 하고 있다.
실크로드페스타 시민프로듀서는 생활문화, 체험예술, 마을축제로 팀을을 나눠 프로젝트를 기획하며, 축제 기간 시민들과 함께 호흡한다.
