화성시, 국제안전도시 1차 실사평가

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 ‘국제안전도시 공인사업’ 1차 실사평가를 받았다.

국제안전도시 공인사업은 2차에 걸쳐 국내, 국외 심사평가로 진행되며 이번에 실시된1차 실사 평가는 국내 심사평가로 국제안전도시 지원센터 주관으로 진행됐다.

23일 화성시청 재난안전상황실에서 진행한 실사에는 손임성 부시장을 비롯하여 화성시 안전도시실무위원 및 사업 관계자,조준필 아주대학교 국제안전도시 지원센터장 및 심사위원 등 60여명이 참석했다.

평가는 △총괄보고 △손상감시체계보고 △자살예방 △범죄폭력예방 △교통안전 △낙상예방 △지역안전 분야 등 각 손상예방 및 관리를 위한 분야별 안전사업 추진사항에 대한 보고와 심사위원 질의답변으로 진행됐다.

시는 오는 12월 예정되어 있는 2차 국외 심사평가를 거쳐 국제안전도시 공인 승인을 목표로 안전한 화성특례시를 구축할 방침이다.

손임성 화성부시장은 “2025년도 화성특례시 출범을 앞두고 국제안전도시 공인 인증을 통해 우리 화성시가 지역사회의 손상 예방과 안전 증진을 위한 기반과 역량을 갖출 것”이라며, “102만 화성시민 모두가 안전한 안전특례시 구축을 위해 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
