[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시가 ‘수원역 웨딩홀’ 개장으로 교통체증을 최소화하기 위해 교통대책을 수립했다.
웨딩홀과 인접한 세화로는 현재 대형판매시설로 인한 교통체증이 빈번하게 발생하고 있어 웨딩홀이 운영을 시작하면 교통체증이 더 심해질 것이라는 우려가 나오고 있다. 웨딩홀은 9월 28일 첫 예식을 진행할 예정이다.

수원시 관계자는 “관내 비슷한 규모의 웨딩홀보다 충분한 주차공간을 확보해 주차로 인한 혼잡을 줄일 것”이라며 “진입 동선을 다각화하고, 모범운전자 등을 투입해 실시간으로 대응하는 등 세화로의 혼잡을 최소화하겠다”고 말했다.
이어 “웨딩홀 개장 이후에도 관계 기관과 협의하고, 교통상황을 모니터링 해 교통체증으로 인한 시민들의 불편을 줄이겠다”고 전했다.
