화성시, ‘보타닉가든 화성’ 시민계획단 프로그램 운영

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 ‘보타닉가든 화성’ 시민계획단 프로그램을 개최했다.

24일 열린 행사는 시민계획단 위원 20여명이 참여하여 괴산트리하우스가든을 둘러보며 설립자로부터 다양한 설명을 듣는 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈다.

이번 프로그램은 시민계획단 위원들에게 새로운 경험을 제공함으로써 ‘보타닉가든 화성’사업추진을 위해 필수적인 정원에 대한 이해를 높이고 지속가능한 환경을 시민들과 함께 만들어 나가기 위해 마련됐다.

최병주 공원녹지사업소장은 “시민계획단 프로그램을 통해 주요사업을 알리고 시민들과의 소통을 강화할 수 있었다”며, “‘보타닉가든 화성’을 조성하는 과정에서 시민들의 다양한 의견을 적극 수렴하여 모두가 함께하는 참여형 정원도시의 견고한 기틀을 마련하겠다”고 강조했다.
