화성시, 군소음 피해지역 주민 '힐링 숲 체험’ 성료

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 군소음 피해지역 주민들을 위한 ‘힐링 숲 체험’을 실시했다.

지난 24일부터 25일까지 이틀에 걸쳐 경기도 광주시에 위치한 화담숲에서 숲 해설가와 함께 여러 테마로 구성된 화담숲 투어를 진행했고, 아로마 원데이 클래스를 수강하며 아로마 오일을 이용한 패브릭 미스트와 캔들 만들기 등 스트레스 해소 및 심신 안정에 도움이 되는 시간을 가졌다.

이번 프로그램은 전년도에 이어 2024년 경기도 군소음 피해지역 지원 공모사업에 선정돼 추진한 사업으로 군소음 피해지역에 거주하는 약 120명의 주민들이 참여했으며 참여자들은 만족도·설문조사를 통해 향후 추진될 사업에 대한 다양한 의견을 제시했다.

박혜정 군공항대응과장은 “숲 체험과 아로마 원데이 클래스를 통해 전투기 소음으로 인한 스트레스가 조금이라도 해소되길 바라며, 체험 당일만큼은 군소음에서 멀어져 즐거운 하루가 됐길 바란다”며, “공군비행장 소음으로 고통과 갈등을 겪는 주민들을 위해 내년에도 다양한 프로그램을 운영하겠다”고 전했다.
