평택강 자전거도로 태양광 LED 기초번호판 설치

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시는 평택강의 자전거도로 일부 어두운 구간에 태양광 LED 기초번호판 설치를 마무리했다.

기초번호판은 도로명과 도로구간 일정 간격마다 부여된 기초번호에 기반해 건물이 없는 장소나 도로 주변의 위치를 알려주는 주소정보시설로, 사고나 재난이 발생했을 때 신속하게 위치를 파악하는 용도로 사용된다.

새로 설치된 태양광 LED 기초번호판은 낮에는 태양열을 이용해 전력을 충전한 뒤 야간에는 충전된 에너지로 점등되는 방식으로, 야간 시인성을 높여 시민들의 자전거도로 이용 시간대 연장과 안전사고 예방 및 대처에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

한편 시는 평택강 자전거도로에 대해 새로운 도로명주소로 변경과 도로구간의 연장으로 지난 8월 자전거도로 내 223개소의 기초번호판을 교체 및 신규 설치한 바 있다.

시 관계자는 “자전거길에서 응급상황 발생 시 신속한 위치정보 파악으로 위기 상황 골든타임을 확보할 수 있도록 주소정보시설 유지관리에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 전했다.
