[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시는 ‘제28회 노인의 날’을 맞아 기념행사를 개최한다.
10월 2일 시청 1층 온누리에서 ‘어르신 인생은 꽃보다 아름다워, 더 활기차게! 더 신나게! 더 아름답게!’를 주제로 한 기념행사를 연다.
성남시노인복지관협회가 주관하는 이날 행사는 가정과 지역, 나라를 위해 헌신해 오신 어르신들의 노고에 감사드리는 사회 분위기 조성을 위해 마련된다.
기념식엔 65세 이상 어르신들과 신상진 성남시장, 3개 구 노인회 지회장, 노인종합복지관장 등 모두 600여 명이 참석한다.
노인 복지 발전에 애쓴 어르신 24명과 노인복지 기여자 21명 등 모두 45명에 대한 표창 수여식, 노인 강령과 경로헌장 낭독이 이어진다.
축하 공연에는 트로트 가수 지훈이 ‘막걸리 한잔’, ‘사랑의 디스코’, ‘남행열차’ 등 메들리를 불러 분위기를 달구고, 6개 팀이 참가하는 어르신 합창제가 펼쳐져 즐거움을 더한다.
신상진 성남시장은 “어르신 분들께서 사회적 멘토로서 빛을 발하고, 행복한 삶을 누릴 수 있도록 관련 정책 추진에 더 많이 고민하고 노력하겠다”면서 “세대를 뛰어넘는 교감으로 희망도시 성남을 만들어 나가는데 함께 해주시기를 희망한다”고 말했다.
