오산시 치매안심센터, 보건복지부장관상 수상

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시는 치매안심센터 운영평가 결과 ‘A등급’으로 선정되어 보건복지부 장관상을 받았다.

이번 치매안심센터 운영평가 장관상은 보건복지부가 전국 256개의 치매안심센터를 대상으로 ▲치매 인프라 구축 ▲치매서비스 제공 및 관리 ▲지역 치매역량 강화 등 치매안심센터 운영을 통해 지역 치매관리 핵심기관으로서 서비스 질 향상에 기여한 공을 종합적으로 평가한 결과이며 상위 10%의 기관만이 A등급으로 선정됐다.

또한 지역 내 유관기관 연계와 협력을 통한 민간자원 발굴·확산 및 치매통합관리체계 구축 역할을 수행해 ‘2024년 경기도 치매사업 우수사례 공모전’선정으로 같은 날 기관 장려상(광역치매센터장상) 또한 연이어 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.

이권재 오산시장은 "양질의 치매 통합 관리 서비스 제공으로 치매환자와 가족의 삶의 질 향상과 치매 안심망 구축을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 시는 치매환자와 그 가족, 지역 주민 모두가 안심하고 살아갈 수 있는 치매 친화적 환경을 구축하고자 올해 3월 치매안심센터 전담공간 마련 및 확장 이전 개소(중앙동행정복지센터 3층)를 했으며 ▲치매환자 등록관리 ▲치매조기검진 지원 ▲치매프로그램 운영 ▲치매인식개선 사업 등 치매통합관리서비스 추진을 통해 증가하는 수요에 발맞춰 관련 서비스를 점진적으로 확대해 나갈 예정이다.
