[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시인재육성재단이‘화성 into 테크노폴’사업 참가 학생을 대상으로 수료회 및 토크콘서트를 개최했다.
28일 화성시 평생학습관에서 열린 이 자리에는 해외탐방 사업 참가 학생과 학부모 1백여 명을 비롯해 정명근 화성시장, 김종복 화성시의회 문화복지위원장, 임선일 화성시인재육성재단 대표이사 및 글로벌 반도체 장비기업 ASM 코리아 이영석 대표이사가 참석한 가운데 행사가 성황리에 마무리됐다.
행사 일정은 참석 내ㆍ외빈의 환영사를 시작으로 ▲우수 정책 선정 과정 안내 ▲우수 정책 발표 ▲시장님과의 토크콘서트 ▲기념촬영 순으로 진행됐으며, 이날 행사의 하이라이트는 해외 탐방 학생들의 정책 제안 발표와 정명근 화성시장과의 토크 콘서트였다.
정책 제안 발표는 학생들이 해외 탐방을 통해 얻은 지식과 통찰력을 바탕으로 화성시 시정에 적용할 수 있는 제안 정책들 중 우수사례 6건을 선별해 발표했다.
학생들의 정책 제안 내용을 살펴보면 ▲동ㆍ서부간 지역 격차 해소를 위한 유휴 대지 활성화 ▲주요 공간을 연결하는 도로 나무 펜스(중앙분리대) 구축 ▲공원거리 설정으로 자원 순환체계 구축 및 녹색 인프라 확장 ▲다문화거리 조성 ▲기업 협력을 통한 보타닉가든 및 그린 커넥션 구축 ▲유동 인구가 많은 장소에 화성시 고유의 식수대 설치 등 환경, 균형발전, 일자리 정책 등 다양한 행정 부문에 걸쳐져 제안됐다.
정명근 화성시장은 “전문가 수준을 넘어서는 정책들이 많아서 내심 놀랐다”며, “‘화성 into 테크노폴’사업의 정책 제안들이 화성시를 변화시키는 마중물이 되기를 기대한다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
한편, ‘화성 into 테크노폴’사업은 화성시인재육성재단이 화성시 교육국제화특구 선정과 발맞춰 2023년에 시작한 사업으로 관내 고등학생 및 대학생 대상 해외탐방 및 문화교류를 통한 화성형 글로컬(Grocal) 인재육성 프로그램이며, 올해 3기수로 나누어 싱가포르 및 유럽 탐방을 진행했다.
