[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥도시공사는 안전사고 예방을 위한 시설물 점검을 실시했다.
야외활동이 증가하는 가을철을 맞아 체육시설을 이용하는 시민들의 안전사고를 예방하고 이용객 편의를 증진하기 위한 이번 안전점검은, 공사에서 수탁 운영중인 15개 체육시설을 대상으로 지난 9일부터 약 2주간 진행했다.
주요 점검사항은 ▲시설물 노후화 및 파손여부 ▲체육시설 이용 안내문구 훼손여부 ▲응급의료장비(AED) 설치 및 작동여부 등을 집중 점검하했다.
점검결과 현장조치가 가능한 부분은 즉각 조치하였으며, 수리가 필요한 부분은 임시조치 후 빠른 시일 내 개선 및 지속적인 관리를 통하여 시설운영 및 시민 안전 확보에 만전을 기할 계획이다.
정동선 사장은 “기온이 선선해지는 가을철 체육시설 이용 및 대관행사가 증가함에 따라 시설물 관리 미흡으로 인한 안전사고가 발생하지 않도록 대대적인 점검을 실시했다”며 “시민들이 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 공공체육 환경을 조성하기 위해 앞으로도 지속적이고 효과적인 시설물 점검을 실시하겠다”고 전했다.
