[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시는 ‘2024년 경로당 그린리모델링 사업’을 본격적으로 추진한다.
10월부터 관내 16곳의 경로당을 대상으로 실시한다.
이 사업은 준공된 지 10년이 넘은 노후 경로당 등의 단열과 설비를 개선해 건물의 에너지 효율을 높이고, 온실가스를 줄이기 위한 친환경 리모델링 프로젝트다.
시는 국비 11억 9,200만 원, 도비 1억 5,300만 원을 포함한 사업비 총 17억 400만 원을 투입해 오는 2026년 12월까지 사업을 완료할 예정이다.
올해 사업 대상 경로당 총 16곳(3개 권역) 중 5곳(1권역)이 선정됐다. 해당 경로당은 ▲대야 계수9통 경로당 ▲대야 계수7통 경로당 ▲신천 도원 경로당 ▲신천 벌터 경로당 ▲신현 방산동 경로당이다.
시는 현재 설계 용역을 추진 중이며 단열 보강, 고성능 창호 설치 등 에너지 절감을 위한 필수 공사와 친환경 마감재를 사용한 선택 공사의 설계 내용을 면밀히 검토하고 있다. 이를 반영해 완성도 높은 시공을 진행할 계획이다.
조현자 시흥시 노인복지과장은 “설계와 공사를 신속히 진행해 노후화된 경로당을 개선하고, 어르신들에게 쾌적한 여가 공간을 하루빨리 제공할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
