성남시의회, 시스템반도체 개발지원센터 개소식 참석

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시의회는 시스템반도체 개발지원센터 개소식을 열었다.

지난 9월 30일 성남 글로벌융합센터 1층에서 열린 이날 개소식에 성남시의회 이덕수 의장, 조정식 의원, 박종각 의원, 김보석 의원을 비롯하여 이승렬 산업통상자원부 산업정책실장, 지역구 국회의원, 신희동 한국전자기술연구원장, 한국팹리스산업협회, 팹리스기업 관계자 등 120여 명이 참석했다.

성남시의회 이덕수 의장은 “시스템반도체는 우리나라의 미래 먹거리를 책임질 중요한 산업”이라며, “이번 센터는 우리나라 반도체 산업 발전에 중요한 이정표가 될 것”이라고 말했다.

한편, 시스템반도체 개발지원센터는 사무실 공간과 시스템반도체 설계 및 성능을 검증하는 공간 등으로 이뤄져 팹리스들의 설계-검증-상용화 전주기 밀착 지원 기반 구축을 위한 서비스를 제공하게 된다. 시는 올해 연말까지 검증 및 설계 기반 구축을 완료하고 내년부터 본격적으로 기업 지원사업을 추진할 예정이다.
