브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 개최하는 제27회 말 사진 공모전 ‘동행’이 공모 접수를 시작한다. 접수 기간은 오는 31일까지이며, 말 사진 공모전 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로 접수할 수 있다.
이번 공모전은 말을 소재로 2021년 1월 1일 이후 국내와 해외에서 직접 촬영한 디지털 사진 작품으로, 대상(상금 400만원)을 포함해 총 36점을 선정한다. 총 상금은 1850만원 규모다.
고성능 디지털 카메라로 담은 사진이 큰 상을 받을 가능성이 크지만, 스마트폰으로 촬영한 사진을 위한 스마트폰 입선 분야 15점을 별도로 마련, 국민 누구에게나 도전의 기회를 제공한다.
올해 말 사진 공모전의 주제는 ‘동행’이다. 말 복지 증진과 동물복지 인식의 확산을 위해 기획된 이번 공모전 주제 ‘동행’을 통해 말과 사람의 파트너십과 행복한 동행이 담긴 작품들이 선보여질 것으로 기대된다. 특히, 동물복지 요소가 가장 잘 표현된 작품 3점은 올해 신설된 ‘말복지 특별상’에 선정될 예정이다.
4호선 경마공원역에 있는 한국마사회 88승마장에서는 10월 한 달간 승마와 관련된 행사들이 연이어 선보인다. 10월 4일과 5일에는 승용마로 변신한 퇴역경주마들의 승마대회가 열린다. 12일과 13일에는 유소년 승마 꿈나무들의 무대인 유소년 승마 챔피언십 대회가 개최된다.
또한, 국내 최고 권위의 승마대회인 제52회 한국마사회장배 승마대회가 오는 17일부터 20일까지 열려 사진가들에게 결정적 순간을 포착할 기회를 제공한다.
이 밖에도 강남구 일원동에 소재한 마루공원, 경기도 안산시 선부광장, 전남 순천만국가정원에서는 11월 3일까지 매주 토요일과 일요일, 도심 속 무료 승마체험이 펼쳐진다.
