수원시 청년 월세 지원사업은 경제적 어려움을 겪는 수원시 거주 1인 가구 미혼 청년(19~34세)에게 월세를 보조하는 것이다. 10만 원씩 최대 5개월을 지원하고, 임차료가 10만 원 미만이면 납부한 금액만 지급한다.
기준 중위소득 120% 이하(2024년 기준 267만 4134원)이면서 임차보증금 1억 원 이하, 월세 60만 원 이하인 민간 건물에 거주하는 무주택자 청년이 대상이다.
수원시는 지난 3월 사업에 참여할 청년을 모집했고, 자격요건을 확인한 후 100명을 선정했다. 지난 6월 1인당 30만 원, 9월 20만 원을 청년의 개인 계좌로 지급했다.
