[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시는 정신건강복지센터와 자살예방센터를 통합한 ‘광명시 마음건강센터’ 개소식을 개최했다.
시는 이원화되어 있는 정신건강복지센터와 자살예방센터를 통합해 마음건강센터로 운영해 한 곳에서 시민의 정신건강 문제부터 자살 위기 대응까지 포괄적이고 효율적인 정신건강 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 됐다.
마음건강센터는 광명동에 있는 광명종합사회복지관 5층에 880㎡규모로 조성됐다. 정신건강복지센터와 자살예방센터의 각 사무실을 비롯해 ▲상담실 5개소 ▲프로그램실 2개소 ▲회의실 ▲당사자회복실 ▲카페테리아 등 공간을 갖췄다.
센터는 정신적 어려움을 겪는 이들이 마음의 아픔을 회복하고 일상생활로 복귀할 수 있도록 돕는 맞춤형 프로그램을 운영하고 상담 기회를 제공하는 등 다양한 마음건강을 위한 사업을 추진할 예정이다.
7일 개소식에는 박승원 광명시장을 비롯해 유관기관 관계자, 시민 등 100여 명이 참석했다. 행사는 현판식, 축사, 사업 경과보고, 축하공연, 시설 관람 등의 순서로 진행됐다.
박승원 광명시장은 “빠르게 변화하는 사회 속에서 스트레스가 심화하고 있어, 시민이 건강하고 안전한 삶을 누릴 수 있는 정서적·정신적 지원체계가 더욱 필요하다”며 “마음건강센터를 주축으로 시민이 언제든지 정신적 도움을 받을 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않을 것”이라고 말했다.
한편 광명시 마음건강센터는 10월 7일부터 11일까지 5일간 개소 기념 주간 행사를 진행한다.
정신건강복지센터에서는 ▲재활프로그램 전시, 당사자 인식개선 활동 홍보, 회복토크 콘서트 ▲생애주기별 마음건강검진(HRV스트레스 검사) ▲스탬프 투어 및 기념품 제공 행사를 연다.
자살예방센터에서는 ‘마음 건강 챙기기’를 주제로 우울 및 자살 척도 검사 등 다양한 정신건강 프로그램을 진행한다.
