[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 고유가와 고물가로 인한 시민 부담을 완화하기 위해 오는 27일부터 ‘고유가 피해지원금’ 1차 지급을 시작한다고 밝혔다.
1차 지급은 5월 8일까지 진행되며, 기초생활수급자에게는 60만 원, 차상위계층과 한부모 가구에는 50만 원이 지급된다. 기간 내 신청하지 못한 대상자는 5월 18일부터 7월 3일까지 진행되는 2차 지급 기간에 신청할 수 있다.
2차 지급은 건강보험료 등 소득 기준에 따라 선정된 국민 70%를 대상으로 한다. 인구감소지역인 동·서·영도구 주민에게는 1인당 20만 원, 그 외 13개 구·군 주민에게는 15만 원이 지급된다.
신청은 온라인과 오프라인 모두 가능하다. 온라인은 카드사 홈페이지와 앱, 지역사랑상품권(동백전) 앱 등을 통해 신청할 수 있다. 오프라인 신청은 카드 연계 은행, 부산은행, 또는 주소지 관할 주민센터에서 가능하다. 신청 첫 주에는 출생연도 끝자리를 기준으로 요일제가 적용된다.
지급 대상은 2026년 3월 30일 기준 부산시에 주민등록이 된 시민이다. 성인은 개인별로 신청할 수 있으며, 미성년자는 세대주가 대신 신청한다. 미성년자 세대주는 직접 신청이 가능하다.
지원금은 부산 지역 내 연매출 30억 원 이하 소상공인 매장에서 사용할 수 있으며, 유흥·사행업종 등 일부 업종에서는 사용이 제한된다. 사용 기한은 8월 31일까지로, 기한 내 사용하지 않은 금액은 자동 소멸된다.
부산시는 4월 24일부터 전담 콜센터를 운영하고, 거동이 불편한 시민을 위한 찾아가는 신청 서비스도 병행할 예정이다.
박형준 부산시장은 “이번 지원금은 시민들의 경제적 부담을 실질적으로 덜기 위한 조치”라며 “취약계층 보호와 지역경제 활성화에 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

The Busan Metropolitan Government announced that it will begin the first round of “fuel cost relief payments” on April 27 to ease the financial burden on residents amid high fuel prices and inflation.
The first round will run through May 8, providing 600,000 won to basic livelihood security recipients and 500,000 won to near-poverty households and single-parent families. Eligible applicants who miss the first round can apply during the second round, scheduled from May 18 to July 3.
The second round will cover 70% of the population based on income criteria such as health insurance premiums. Residents in population-declining districts—Dong-gu, Seo-gu, and Yeongdo-gu—will receive 200,000 won per person, while those in the other 13 districts will receive 150,000 won.
Applications can be submitted both online and offline. Online applications are available through credit card company websites and apps, as well as local currency apps such as Dongbaekjeon. Offline applications can be made at affiliated bank branches, Busan Bank, or local administrative welfare centers. A weekday-based application system, determined by the last digit of the applicant’s birth year, will be applied during the first week.
Eligible recipients are Busan residents registered as of March 30, 2026. Adults can apply individually, while minors must apply through the head of their household. Minor household heads may apply on their own.
The relief funds can be used at small businesses in Busan with annual sales under 3 billion won, excluding certain sectors such as entertainment and gambling. Funds must be used by Aug. 31, after which any remaining balance will expire.
The city will also operate a dedicated call center starting April 24 and provide visiting application services for residents with limited mobility.
Mayor Park Heong-joon said the program is intended to ease residents’ financial strain and support vulnerable groups, while helping boost the local economy through increased consumption.
