7일 시에 따르면 올해는 예술제와 축제로 이원화된 지 3년째를 맞이하는 해로 시민주도형 및 안전한 행사, 지역과 동반 성장하는 상생형 프로그램을 구성해 축제의 품격을 끌어 올렸다.
행사 첫날 11일 개막식은 대릉원에서 개최된다. 월정교 수상 객석에서 진행했던 화백제전을 대신해 ‘신라복판타지 패션쇼’를 선보인다.
패션쇼는 신라 스토리를 담은 슈퍼모델 100인의 신라복쇼와 함께 미디어파사드, 불꽃 및 500대 드론 쇼 등의 멀티미디어쇼로 진행된다.
감성 낭만 야시장인 ‘달빛난장’은 봉황대 광장에 이어 금관총 일원에 푸드트럭존을 신설해 스마트 QR 주문 및 결제 시스템을 도입했다.
떡볶이, 어묵 등 간단한 요깃거리가 가능한 분식류부터 부대찌개, 제육볶음 등 입맛을 자극할 식사류, 케밥과 양꼬치 등 글로벌한 먹거리까지 선보인다.
실크로드페스타는 대릉원 공간까지 확장해 전통성과 대중성을 가미한 30개 팀이 다채롭고 화려한 공연을 70회 제공한다.
청소년들에게 큰 인기를 끌었던 화랑힙합페스타는 요즘 힙합씬에서 가장 핫한 비와이, 비오, 자이언티 등 8팀을 섭외했다.
특히 올해는 봉황대 법장사 뒤편에 ESG존을 마련해 친환경 체험 공간과 반려견 동반 구역을 신설했다.
또 친환경 공간인 ‘그린어스 존’은 문정헌 뒤 잔디밭에 마련돼 폐플라스틱 업사이클링 체험부터 멸종위기 동물을 캐릭터로 한 에코백 제작까지 다양한 체험을 진행한다.
시는 원활한 신라문화제 운영을 위해 안전관리에도 행정력을 집중한다.
지난해 신라문화제 날짜별, 연령별, 시간대별 등의 방문객 빅데이터를 객관적 분석해 안전 인력을 효율적으로 배치하며, 이를 교통통제, 비상 대피로, 안전페스 설치 등에도 적극 활용한다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “황리단길을 찾아오는 국내외 관광객을 대릉원 안으로 끌어들이고, 다시 봉황대로 퍼져나가게 해 ‘황리단길-대릉원-중심상가’를 잇는 새로운 축제관광 벨트를 만들어 낸다는 게 올해 신라문화제 전략이다”라며 “가을 정취를 만끽하는 이번 신라문화제에 반드시 오셔서 아름답고 소중한 추억을 가득 담아 가시길 바란다”고 말했다.
