윤석열 대통령 내외가 7일(현지시간) 1박 2일간의 필리핀 국빈 방문 일정을 마치고 싱가포르로 출국했다.
윤 대통령과 부인 김건희 여사는 이날 오후 필리핀 니노이 아키노 국제공항에서 대통령 전용기 공군 1호기 편으로 두 번째 국빈 방문국 싱가포르로 향했다.
이날 공항엔 필리핀 대통령 투자 경제특별보좌관·하원의원·파사이 시장·주한 필리핀 대사·외교부 이주노동자 담당 차관·윤만영 필리핀한인회장 등이 나와 윤 대통령 내외를 환송했다.
윤 대통령은 환송 인사들과 악수를 나누며 "고생 많으셨다. 행사가 잘 됐다"고 말하며 격려했고, 김 여사 역시 필리핀 측 환송 인사들과 대화를 나누며 "감사하다"고 인사했다.
윤 대통령은 이번 필리핀 국빈 방문에서 교통 인프라 개발 자금 투입 및 군 현대화·원자력발전소 건설 사업 참여 등 필리핀 여러 대규모 사업들에 한국 기업들이 적극 참여할 수 있는 여건을 조성하는 세일즈 외교를 펼쳤다.
윤 대통령은 8일(현지시간) 싱가포르 타르만 샨무가라트남 대통령·로런스 웡 총리와 정상회담·MOU(양해각서) 서명 교환식·공동 언론 발표 후 오는 9일(현지시간) 싱가포르 정부 산하 연구소 주최 '싱가포르 렉처'에서 '자유·평화·번영의 인도·태평양을 위한 한반도 통일 비전'을 주제로 강연한다.
