브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대차그룹의 글로벌 오픈이노베이션 플랫폼 제로원(ZER01NE)은 오는 10월 20일까지 은행권창업재단 디캠프와 함께 우수 스타트업을 모집한다고 8일 밝혔다.
제로원은 우수한 역량을 보유한 혁신 신생 기업(스타트업)을 발굴하는 현대차그룹의 오픈 이노베이션 플랫폼이다. 제로원은 올해로 7년째 현대차그룹의 미래 사업과 관련해 우수 스타트업과 협업 네트워크를 구축하고 다양한 혁신 기술을 발굴·육성하고 있다.
디캠프는 2012년 제1금융권 19개사가 공동으로 설립한 국내 최대 규모의 창업재단으로 매월 다양한 분야의 우수한 초기 스타트업을 모집·발굴 하는 ‘디데이’를 개최하고 있다. 이번 ‘디데이’는 현대차그룹 제로원과 스타트업 간의 협업 네트워크에 디캠프의 풍부한 스타트업 선발 경험이 더해져 시너지가 기대된다.
모집 전형은 법인 설립 전의 초기 창업팀(Pre Seed~Seed 단계)과 첫 투자를 받은 초기 스타트업(Seed ~ Pre-A 단계)의 2가지로 나눠 선발된다. 지원하고자 하는 스타트업은 공식 홈페이지에서 신청하면 된다.
모집 분야는 AI(인공지능), 로보틱스, ESG, 배터리 등 현대차그룹 미래 사업과 연계돼야 한다. 지원한 스타트업은 1차 서류 심사와 2차 심층 면접을 거쳐 11월 28일 ‘디데이’ 행사에서 최종 선발된다.
제로원은 최종 선발된 초기 창업팀에는 제품/서비스의 핵심 기능 개발 지원, 초기 스타트업에는 현대차그룹 현업 부서와의 공동 프로젝트 연계 등의 혜택을 제공한다.
더불어 내년 국제전자제품박람회(CES, Consumer Electronics Show)와 제로원에서 운영하는 스타트업 투자 설명회 ‘제로원벤처스 데모데이’ 등 현대차그룹이 참가하는 스타트업 유관 행사에서 전시 기회도 제공한다.
디캠프는 선발 스타트업에게 선릉에 위치한 디캠프 건물 최장 1년 6개월의 입주 기회를 제공하고 추후 후속 투자 검토, 자금 조달, 채용 지원 등 다양한 프로그램을 지원한다.
제로원 관계자는 “AI, 로보틱스, 차세대배터리, ESG 등 현대차그룹 미래 사업 테마에 부합하는 초기 스타트업과의 만남을 고대하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 오픈이노베이션 통해 우수 스타트업과의 시너지 기회를 지속해서 발굴할 것이다”고 말했다.
